Throughout this project we have gone into deep detail and study of the energy waves and many different kinds of energy currents. including various man made machines that are based around high frequency light waves to advance our technologies within many fields of work.
Here is a photo that I took that demonstrates the physics of light.
Project Reflection:
Reflecting on this project there have been successes and things I can work on personally. My greatest strength was tuning into almost all of the zoom calls starting of the project. I personally think this is a big strength for me because it is hard for my attention to be caught within learning however this was not the case. Starting the project when we were doing our first lab I grew an interest within this field. I personally think of myself as someone who prefers to do my school work outside of the class however this project made me want to go back to school. I think the result involving the growth of my knowledge within physics has definitely been a good turn out.
Personally I think my greatest challenge was turning in some of my work and giving myself the time to do so. Especially when it started to snow and ski areas are starting to open that has been a serious distraction within this class as well as many other of my classes. such as when we were asked to make a pinhole camera I had done the entire study to do so and I was ready with my materials to do so, But I chose to go skiing instead and I had wish I had done it at the time because the missing assignment effected my grade. this has been a serious area of growth that really hasn't changed over the years and it has been a struggle to stay caught up leading into high school because that transition from not having to worry about grades to grades dropping to zeros from only a few assignments. I wish to continue to try to get over this hunch within my learning to better myself as a student.
My number one takeaway is that light is the number is one of the most important tool to further advance modern technology within many fields like radiology and many more. I find this an important reason to give attention towards and appreciate what has been handed to us that we as specimens of extreme intelligents to advance culturally and economically. this has been shown within my photo shown above because it is a camera shot photo of the moon and surrounding stars taken at a very low shutter speed (Frequency) drawing a picture that is being seen by the lense.
I think I grew as a scientist by furthering my knowledge within a different topic of physics and I can personally say I have taken many pieces of knowledge away from this project leading into the world. Science is a serious interest for me and I hope to continue on with it in my life. I am not aware of which field but I have my mind set. This project has been challenging yet entertaining in many ways. I feel I was able to focus and have a good understanding of what is going on within my class and that would be much harder without my great Physics teacher Tina.

Rube Goldberg Machine Project.
Throughout this project we were asked to learn the laws of physics and the 6 simple machines that are involved in Building a RGM which is required to complete a simple task. After we learned these different laws and content we were asked to build a Rube Goldberg machine that was asked to complete a simple task. The task I chose to complete was to build a final motion that involved a pulley which would pull a blackout from my kat feeder which would result in food filling into the bowl.
Project Reflection:
Energy:
1. Conservation of energy is an example as to how energy cannot be created nor destroyed. I was not able to make this statement within my RGM although I do think there were examples as to how energy builds.
2. Energy transfer is when one object moves its energy into another for example when you roll a moving ball which hits a sitting ball the energy will be transferred to the still ball causing to start moving. my RGM shows this when the dominoes fall onto the the match box car causing it to moving on the track.
Mechanics:
1. The six simple machines are inclined Plane, Lever, Wedge, Wheel and Axle , Pulley , and Screw. these machines are important because it is what makes everything in our everyday lives easier. Although that challenge is good but travel would be a large challenge if we had not come up with cars that involve wheels and axles.
2. I showed the pulley system in the fact that the weight is put into the box which pulls the string. pulling the box out. wheel and axel is shown within the car moving on the track. incline plane was the ball jumping off of the track falling into the funnel.
3. I was not able to fully show my challenge step but when the ball fell into the funnel it would a motion where it would start spinning at a large speed.
Learning and Growth:
1. My number one takeaway was that I need to give myself more time when building my RGM to make it much better and enable to have time to have fun when building and just experiment without feeling rushed.
2. Coming to the last week or so I was having a huge challenge with finishing up my RGM and making it finalized to my liking however I did not feel this was m best work at all.
3. I thought my creativity came into this quite well because although I was given materials most of my project was being made of materials around my house.

Electromagnet project.
Throughout this project we covered a series of electromagnet forces and discovering the topic of creating a magnet then a funcional electromagnetic device like the fan in the picture to the left. I made a fan with the materials given. these were a rotary motor for the initial power of the fan then i cut a hole in the center of 2 popsicle stick so they stay steady on the stick then with the leading wires i connected them to the positive and negative sides of the battery. the initial electricity coming from the battery is converted through these wires to cause the motor to function.
